Armored Assault Tank (AAT-1)
Weapon Type: Various
Armor Type: unknown -thick
Speed: 55 km (34 mph)
Classification: Attack Tank
Basic Description: A medium sized repulsor tank, this was also one of the first tanks the Trade Federation created.
LOADOUT:
Armament
The AAT's launch tubes could be equipped with a variety of ammunition. The three standard-issue ammunition types were "bunker-busters", high explosive shells used for destroying enemy structures such as outposts; armor-piercing shells, used for penetrating heavy armor on tanks; and high-energy shells for anti-personnel and anti-vehicle use. As they were fired, these shells were surrounded by high-energy plasma, which improved their penetration and reduced friction, thus increasing speed.
Defense:
The Armored Assault Tank was a formidable vehicle; it was augmented with heavy inches-thick frontal armor that allowed it to plow through walls.
Special: Crew/Repulsor Rifts
Its crew consisted of four battle droids (one commander, one pilot, and two gunners), and could also carry six B1 battle droids on the hand grips on the outside of the tank. The commander typically sat inside the turret of the primary blaster cannon, while the gunners and pilot were positioned in the main hull of the tank. The gunners operated both secondary blasters, and the commander controlled the main turret. It is also equipped with sensor systems.
It possessed repulsor rifts that allowed it to float off the ground.
Additional Factors:
-Vulnerability: These vehicles have been easily destroyed by lightsaber armed Jedi, missile launchers and other vehicles. Also dropping a grenade in the main turret or pilot hatch would destroy it, and the bottom interior was weak to attack. It also had only 55 shells, where afterwards it would have to return to its carrier to have its lower hull completely replaced to recharge its full supply. Finally it could only use simple tactics by itself, and required an instructor for anything more.
Weapon Type: Missile Launchers, Laser
Armor Type: Unknown (metalloid)
Speed: 45 k/m (28 mph)
Classification: Anti-Air/vehicle Missile Tank
Basic Description:
The Hailfire-class droid tank was a self-aware mobile missile platform capable of destroying enemy vehicles and entire platoons of enemy soldiers. It ran on large hoop-like wheels on either side of the main armored command module, which enabled it to operate on almost any terrain at impressive speed.
LOADOUT:
Armament:
The Hailfire-class was well equipped, with missile launchers fitted on each side of its head, each missile rack carrying 15 guided rocket warheads powerful enough to cause significant damage to enemy targets. A well-placed shot with one of these missiles was enough to destroy a Republic AT-TE walker, and was effective against other armored units. Each Hailfire-class droid tank also had a retractable double blaster for use against infantry and other "soft" targets.
Defense:
It is unknown what the tank is made out of, only that it seems to go down pretty easily when hit.
Special: Variations, Refresh Droids
The Hailfire-class also had many different configurations that boasted various types of weapons. Some of the configurations included heavy blaster artillery, ion cannons, or anti-personnel stun weapon batteries.
Originally this droid had a major issue in that it only could carry 30 missiles and being practicaly useless when it expended this ammunition. The CIS solved this problem by inventing refresh droids. These air-mobile droids allowed the Seperatists to rearm the Hailfire in battle, greatly increasing its effectiveness.
Additional Factors:
- The design of the wheels gave the Hailfire tank a wide lateral range.
Weapon Type: Various
Armor Type: Unknown Metaloid, Defensive formation
Speed: Max 100 km (62 mph)
Classification: Assault Tank
Basic Description:
The tank droid was a six-meter tall automaton with a huge, central drive motor for locomotion supported by four small outrigger wheels (or could roll on its single track thread). It is the main assault tank of the Droid armies, and like most vehicles is piloted by a machine.
LOADOUT:
Armament
During the Clone Wars, the droid enforcers were equipped with conventional ion cannons and heavy rapid fire laser cannons. For special missions, these could be replaced by concussion missile launchers, homing missiles, dumbfire torpedoes, shock rifles (which fired ten explosive projectiles at once in a shotgun like fashion) and thermal grenade launchers. It was almost infamous for the callous way in which it ran over civilians.
Defense: Defense formation:
Because of its forward drive motor, the tank droid was not an especially maneuverable vehicle and was very easy to engage when being flanked. To compensate for this, the tanks deployed in tightly packed waves, forming a wall of armor. This was in addition whatever strong metal the tank was made out of.
Special:
Additional Factors:
-These were often deployed in mixed unit formations in order to best protect other vehicles such as the Hailfire tank or the Tri-Droid.
Weapon Type: Lasers
Armor Type: Unknown Metal- heavily armored
Speed: 50 km (max) – 31 mph
Classification: All-Terrain Walker Droid
Basic Description:
The Spider Droid was effective against both ground-based and airborne targets and was designed to transport a large and devastating weapon throughout the battlefield.
LOADOUT:
Armament
The spider walker's chief weapon was a laser emplacement mounted atop the droid's round body. This circular dish fired a precision homing laser that could be maintained until the drone's internal power supply was finished. This sustained firepower allowed the homing spider to weaken shields, destroy armored vehicles and scythe down troop formations.
An antipersonnel cannon below the walker's round body could be used for close-quarters combat, while a retractable ion cannon could be added to disable starships or other powerful vehicles. There were also weapon mounts that allowed other armaments to be fixed to the droid. Sensor equipment fitted into the homing spider, enabled it to target and keep track of moving enemy targets. Because of its great height and extendable hydraulics, the walker could position its homing laser above its fellow droids at enemy targets or move to higher ground to blast at air vehicles.
Defense:
It has very powerful armor yet it does have a weakness. Successfully destroy a leg and the whole machine collapses. Also if the volatile core in the middle is pierced it blows up.
Special:
Additional Factors:
- All Terrain: the homing spider could walk along the bottom of seabeds, fully submerged in water, as well as scale steep cliffs.
Weapon Type: Laser
Armor Type: Unknown
Speed: Slow
Classification: Mega-spider
Basic Description:
The tri-droid was an up-scaled version of the smaller octuptarra combat tri-droid that is about 50 feet tall.
LOADOUT:
Armament
Chain-fed ordnance launchers replaced the laser cannons of its predecessors, with the reserves of ammunition stored within the hollows of its bulbous head, although some models did retain laser cannons as seen in the Battle of Christophsis. One rocket fired from a single behemoth was powerful enough to annihilate a UT-AT if aimed correctly, as seen in the Battle of Mygeeto. These three-legged artillery droids were formidable in battle, reducing infantry and tanks to rubble. Their rotating multi-jointed assemblies allowed them to change facing almost instantly and they could fire from extended ranges. It was almost impossible to approach such droids, as all sides conceivably faced the front.
Defense:
Frustratingly, the exact armor type of the droid vehicles isn’t listed, though it can be assumed it can stand up to a good amount of punishment.
Special:
Additional:
- Surprise! The droid was capable of hanging onto vertical surfaces, as seen during the Battle of Christophsis.
- Weakness: Just like the Previous Spider Droid, if you were to take out one of its legs it would have an incredibly hard time standing up.
Minor Armor:
Once again these refer to armored units that, while EXTREMELY potent, do not quite have the numbers that their compatriots have, and in fact will have a much smaller presence then the ones talked about above.
This droid was the cousin of the other spider droids, and was built to operate in total darkness. It was built for tough combat on uneven terrain, and was therefore equipped with multiple weapons systems. These included dual target-seeking missiles which could fire once the targeting systems had a lock-on. The A-DSD had plated front legs, the plates being large enough to protect it from any forward attack, unless they were blown off, which was relatively easy to do.
On top of the droid's frame was a powerful cannon that shot high-energy bolts with explosive power and tremendous range of destruction. The unit did possess one weakness, which was its lone, red, sensor eye which could scan its surroundings for enemy targets. Use of anti-armor weaponry could destroy these units.
A defoliator was a weapon designed to destroy organic matter while leaving machinery intact. The CIS had a few of these experimental guns, but not many (probably in the dozens total). The defoliator used by the CIS consisted of an artillery weapon attached to the chassis of a modified Armored Assault Tank. Standard artillery shells which contained the defoliator weapon were placed within the launching mechanism and fired at a target. Upon impact, the warhead detonated, generating a fiery shockwave that engulfed a large area, obliterating all forms of organic matter but leaving machinery intact. The weapon had a weakness in that the shockwave could not breach deflector shields.
The HAG's artillery cannon had tremendous range, and was lethal to the Galactic Republic's Republic Troop Transports and walkers. It had heavy armor which made it pretty resistant to laser cannons, but not to bombs - though it could still survive a few direct hits with bombs, but very poor speed and maneuverability, which allowed it to be destroyed fairly easily by faster and nimbler Republic vehicles.
The Protodeka was a gigantic repulsorlift weapons platform with rapid-firing heavy turbolasers (which were massive versions of a laser cannon) and deadly seeker missile launchers with rapid-fire ability. Designed by a Colicoid scientist, it also had a seismic wave emitter that destroyed anything within 10 meters. Designed to turn the tide in favor of the Confederacy, the Protodeka turned out to be too expensive to mass-produce, so only a few were built.
A seismic tank, or seismic charge minelayer, was a repulsorcraft that traveled very close to the surface of a planet and inflicted damage to an opposing force by ejecting a large piston downward onto it, smashing them, and then creating a shockwave that rippled away from its impact zone. These shockwaves are huge, easily clearing a field (whether friend or foe is on it). They are 55 meters tall, and can hang up to 30 meters in the sky. Because of the vehicle's massive size and slow movement, it would have made an easy target for enemy artillery and gunships. Also the CIS will be limited to 2-3 of these, as part of the rules regarding super units.
The super tank was an experimental tank created by Baktoid Armor Workshop. It looked very much like the MTT which was also made by Baktoid. It was about half the size of the MTT and had its twin blaster cannons located on the same spot as the MTT. The repulsortank also had one turret-mounted twin blaster located on the outside in the middle of the craft on either side. Concealed under a retractable section of its armor plating were the vehicle's main weapons: a set of twin warhead launchers capable of easily obliterating an AT-TE walker. It was equipped with ray shielded armor and could easily deflect shots from an AT-TE walker and an AV-7 Antivehicle Cannon. Once again this tank was never mass produced, and thus would be extremely rare.
The Umbaran hover tank was a single-pilot vehicle built around an armored control pod flanked by twin conducting vanes that each housed an electromagnetic plasma cannon capable of decimating entire platoons of enemy troops with a single blast. The conducting vanes rotated and split open to serve as landing struts when the vehicle was powered down in a docked configuration. Although its cockpit was armored, its vanes were vulnerable to AT-RT fire
* This tank, the centipede and the heavy cannon are what made the Umbarans so hard to conquer for the Republic.
The IAT was a shielded machine that could be piloted by a single Umbaran. It was armed with blaster cannons—four at the front and two at the rear, while ten covered the segmented bodies. It looked like a centipede and I got to say the Umbaran’s really impress me with their ingenuity.
Aside from being ray shielded(meaning it absorbed blaster bolts but not solid objects) , the massive six-legged walker was equipped with dual blaster cannons situated right next to spot lights useful at night. Its main weapon was a large rotating electro-magnetic pulse cannon located on its head that could easily decimate entire platoons of enemy soldiers (organic or otherwise). Like the Umbaran starfighter, the controls for the MHC tank were just hand-motion controls.
======AIR COMBAT======
Type of Aircraft: Gunship
Fighter or Bomber? : Primarily Bomber
Weapon Type: Various
Armor Type: Ray Shield
Classification: Aerial Assault Craft
Basic Description:
Manufactured by Baktoid Fleet Ordnance, the HMP droid gunship was an ominous-looking, heavily-shielded aerial missile platform. Designed for air strikes in planetary atmospheres, the droid gunship compensated for its sluggish airspeed with a powerful arsenal of weaponry.
Loadout:
Armament:
An HMP gunship's standard weapons configuration consisted of two laser cannon turrets, one medium laser cannon, two light laser cannons, and 14 missiles. It also had two movable metal mandibles, for an unknown purpose, at its front.
The gunship's modular wings allowed the HMP to carry a wide variety of ordnance, from concussion bombs and torpedoes to electromagnetic pulse missiles. Seven missile launchers were located on either side of the gunship's main body, below the large aft-mounted disc housing the reactor core. The HMP's repulsorlift would steadily drive the gunship in flight, allowing for stable shooting in battle.
Defense:
In addition to heavy armor, they come equipped with Deflector shields which can absorb a large amount of energy shots before burning out.
Special:
In atmospheric conditions it could reach a speed of 820 k/m, or 509 mph. It could also be used by B-X commando droids, who outfit the gunship with further weapons. Like the vast majority of Seperatist vehicles, it was driven by a droid brain.
Additional Factors:
- This is an atmospheric and space vehicle.
Type of Aircraft: Helicopter, airplane, UFO, organic creature? ect.
Fighter or Bomber? : Fighter
Weapon Type: Laser Cannon
Armor Type: Unknown
Classification: Escort Drone-fighter
Basic Description:
The Hunter-Seeker droid was an unusual droid starfighter employed by the Trade Federation as a defensive unit. Their primary objective was to defend transport vehicles. These things were small for fighters, only being twice the size of an average clone trooper.
Loadout:
Armament: Laser Cannons
These drones were meant to be deployed in mass, and only wielded single laser cannons. They were most often deployed in space in their wheel form, concealing their weapons. There they would float until the enemy approached, at which point they unfolded into attack positions.
Defense: Weak Armor
They were compared to an unshielded droideka, and a single laser cannon was often enough to take out whole swathes of them.
Special:
Additional Factors:
-Swarm tactics:
They are often used in swarm tactics, given their ease with which they can be produced and the ease at which they can be destroyed.
Type of Aircraft: Starfighter
Fighter or Bomber? : Fighter
Weapon Type: Laser Cannons (primary)
Armor Type: Laminasteel
Classification: Genosian Star Fighter
Basic Description:
This small, sleek Genosian craft was considered valuable enough to play a role far beyond Genosia.
Loadout:
Armament:
The fighter's main weapon was a turret-mounted laser cannon that was cradled between its forward needle-like mandibles and seated within a magnetic bracket. This turret shot amethyst laser bolts, and its emplacement was modular, allowing for other weapons, such as an ion cannon, to be switched in and out as circumstances dictated.
Defense:
Designed and built by Huppla Pasa Tisc Shipwrights Collective, the starfighter's frame was, like many other types of Geonosian starship, made from thin strands of pliable laminasteel, a long metallic substance that was also used in constructing Geonosian hives. During the construction process this material was heated, then wrapped around the assembled inner components of the fighter. When the laminasteel hardened, it produced a strong and flexible aerodynamic frame that could hold itself well against large amounts of heavy impacting.
Special: Special Features:
In addition to the modular weapon assembly, the Nantex-class fighter was also lined with one hundred small, independently-aimed tractor beam and repulsorlift generators. These extra systems could be used to give the starfighter increased maneuverability while flying within an atmosphere, limit the mobility of enemy craft, or allow the laser bolts fired from the fighter's main weapon to be guided and fired off-axis. The Nantex-class ship was thought of as a "stealth" vehicle, since its engine and weapons systems emitted very little ambient glow for sensors to pick up.
Additional Factors:
- Max Speed: At its highest point the ship can travel a whopping 20,000 k/m per hour (12427 mph).
- In addition to that, this ship and its Genosian pilots were well known for maneuverability and benefited further from extremely well trained pilots. The pilots of such craft, raised in vast hives within their caste, were trained to hurl themselves at any enemy force with seemingly reckless abandon; from birth each pilot was melded with the systems of a specific beak-wing, ensuring a lasting counterpart-level relationship between the two. This allowed for vastly improved reaction time when in combat.
- Uncommon: Luckily for their foes this ship is quite uncommon.
HYENA BOMBER
Type of Aircraft: Space-ship walker
Fighter or Bomber? : Primarily Bomber (backup fighter)
Weapon Type: Light Laser cannons
Armor Type: Unknown Metal
Classification: Droid Bomber
Loadout:
Armament:
The Hyena bomber could be armed with proton bombs, concussion missiles, and proton torpedoes. They also carried two light laser cannons for defense.
Defense: Unknown metal
Unlike the Vulture Droid, the Hyena bomber's wings separated in the middle while in "walker" mode, which allowed it to move precariously slow on the ground while targeting ground enemies.
Additional Factors:
- Max Speed: 1,150 kmh (750 mph)
- Uncommon : This droid was not a common find in the battlefield, and was absent from many key battles.
- When heavily damaged this droid has been known to try and commit a suicide run.
Type of Aircraft: Starfighter
Fighter or Bomber? : Fighter
Weapon Type: Laser Cannons
Armor Type: Unknown Metaloid
Classification: Droid Starfighter
Basic Description:
The Variable Geometry Self-Propelled Battle Droid, Mark I (also known as the Vulture-class droid starfighter or simply as the Vulture droid) was a droid starfighter used by the Trade Federation. Later, in much greater numbers, it was utilized by the Confederacy of Independent Systems.
Loadout:
Armament:
The Vulture possesses 6 blaster cannons on it as well as 4 loaded Discord Missiles. Upon impact each missile deploys 7 buzz droids (see support) which are intended to disable targets.
Defense:
Special:
When not in flight, the ship could transform into a walking weapons platform, used for ground patrol and troop support. While in this mode, a Vulture droid could also latch onto surfaces in zero gravity, allowing it to launch directly from the external hull of a capital ship.
Additional Factors
- Better Maneuverability: A droid starfighter was capable of maneuvers that would kill an organic pilot, but they lacked the resourcefulness and cunning of living pilots, although they were capable of responding much faster.
- Fuel difficulties: Vulture droids had an unusual fuel system, relying on solid-fuel concentrate slugs that provided propulsion upon ignition. However, they could only function for 35 minutes before having to be refueled. The Trade Federation solved this issue by sending Vulture droids into battle in timed, rotating swarms.
- Max Speed: 1,200 km
Type of Aircraft: Starfighter
Fighter or Bomber? : Starfighter
Weapon Type: Laser Cannons
Armor Type: Unknown Metaloid
Classification: Droid Starfighter
Basic Description:
The droid tri-fighter, also known as the tri-droid fighter or simply tri-fighter, was a deadly Confederacy droid starfighter designed as a fast, agile and powerful space-superiority starfighter, built to excel in dog fighting.
Loadout:
Armament:
It was armed with one heavy laser cannon protruding from the central ball, and a light laser cannon for each of the three arms. They could fire independently or together and could slightly tilt on rails to improve its deadly aim. Two to six discord missiles (that fire Buzz droids) of variable payloads were housed within each arm.
Defense:
Special:
Additional Factors:
- Max Speed: Ranging From roughly 1,100 kmh, to 37,000 km (in the highest conditions – 22,991 mph)
Minor Aircraft:
Again low quantity and abysmally low reinforcement rate.
The Mechanized Assault Flyer was used for several purposes, including close-range bombardment and aerial reconnaissance. It was equipped with two beam cannons and a rear swiveling laser cannon that spun around the large disc-like posterior of the ship, as well as two more laser cannons in side-pods. The MAF had one pilot, a co-pilot, and a gunner for the turret. It was 18.2 meters long and could reach speeds of up to 820 kilometers per hour.
The Porax-38 (P-38) starfighter was a tough, hyperdrive-equipped starfighter used by the Utapauns as part of the Utapau Skyforce. A starfight, it came with a deflector shield and two laser cannons.
The advanced droid bomber was armed with four laser cannons and a high capacity bomb bay. Although well armored and shielded, it was slow and lacked maneuverability. In most cases, the bomber was deployed in squadrons of five. The advanced bomber was apparently easy to hit thanks to its low speed and maneuverability.
=============MISC AIR===============
Drop Ships (various)
Type of Aircraft: Spaceships
Purpose of Aircraft: Transports
Classification: Troop Transport
Basic Description:
This catch all category includes various types of troop transports that the Seperatists used.
Loadout:
Armament: (if any):
None of them had any armament, relying on other vehicles to defend.
Defense:
(see variations)
Special/ Detailed Purpose: Variations
Dropships were used by the Trade Federation to deliver its forces to battlefields. Dropships were used individually, in groups, or alongside larger C-9979 landing craft. Dropships could deploy tanks, infantry, or a combination of both. A common tactic used against Dropships was to destroy them before they could deploy any forces, however that said it did have deflector shields which worked against lasers. They can hold up to six AAT tanks at once.
The dropship was heavily shielded, able to withstand laser and light ordnance attacks. Only heavy projectiles and powerful missiles could breach the vessel's defense. That said with the heavier defense came some issues, as it could only hold 30 passengers at once.
It was used for deploying the CIS attack vehicles into battle. Because of the lack of weapons, they were easy targets for LAAT/i gunships. Each one had a pair of folding wings that would fold down when landing. It could hold 3 vehicles at once.
Additional Factors:
- Low Troop Capacity
- Requires Escorts
Type of Aircraft: Spacecraft
Purpose of Aircraft: Transport
Classification: Massive Troop Transport
Basic Description:
In contrast to the lackluster transportation featured above, this ship can carry entire armies to the field.
Loadout:
Armament: (if any)
There are several laser cannons built into its core and its wings, up to 8 total.
Defense:
Other than heavy armor and presumably some shielding, not much is known about exact armor.
These wings were used to carry vehicles racked in garage channels for maximum loading capacity. Each carried 11 MTTs that carry troops on the frontlines, 28 PAC for deploying troops reasonably behind the frontlines, and 114 AATs for vehicular support. When deployed, these vehicles were guided along repulsor tracks to a staging platform. Since the maneuvering equipment on-board was not precise enough to negotiate the cramped confines of the garage zones without causing damage, they required the assistance of the repulsor tracks. At a staging area, the vehicles were rotated into position and grabbed by transport clamps, which brought them aft and lead them down the deployment ramp in the landing craft's foot.
Additional Factors: MOBILE COMMAND CENTER:
- In addition to a troop transport, the C-9979 can carry the CIS mobile command center, which contained all the facilities needed to run an army (communications, research ect).
- Speed: 587 kmph
=============SUPPORT =============
Armor Type: Durasteel
Type of Support: Troop Construction.
Classification: Mobile Factory
What Bonus do they give?: Mobile Factory
Loadout:
Armament (should be purely defensive if it exists, or else very minor): None
Defense: Durasteel
Special/Detailed Purpose:
A droid dispenser was a roughly cylindrical container, that could transport, dispense and possibly construct battle droids, used by the Confederacy of Independent Systems during the Clone Wars to continually dispense a supply of battle droids.
For realism sake, I am going to argue that they must gather the materials first in order to make droids. These can come from either whatever the Scavenger Droids can recover too (if CIS command invests the time in it) raw materials taken from the surrounding land. Initially, it can also be used to store many droids and transport them to battle.

Additional Factors:
- Immobile: Once placed these mini-factories cannot be moved without a transport.
Armor Type: Durasteel?
Type of Support: Ground Transportation of troops?
Classification: Mass Transport
What Bonus do they give?: Quick Deployment of infantry
Loadout:
Armament :
Multi-Troop Transport: It was armed with only a quartet of 17kv anti-personnel blaster cannons mounted in two ball turrets.A single turret was accurate and powerful enough to target and destroy a starfighter in atmospheric combat.
Defense:
The Multi-troop transport had hardened armor, as did the Multi-Utility transport, but little else.
Special/Detailed Purpose: Variations
Multi-troop Transport:
The MTT's control room was staffed by an OOM pilot battle droid and a droid gunner/engineer. The original Baktoid design for the MTT called for an open staging chamber, but Baktoid's eccentric designers had the unusual job of making a transport that had to convey droids, not living beings. They thus devised a system that could load folded battle droids onto a giant deployment rack. This more than doubled the troop capacity of the MTT, which extended the droid rack to deploy the compressed troops, which would then unfold into fighting position. At the end of the battle, they'd be refolded and loaded back onto the rack to be transported back to the base. However, the open chamber was retained for storing droidekas.

Not much is known about the Multi-Utility Transport except that it is both much slower than the MTT and can carry more. It has no armament.
Not much is known about the Multi-Utility Transport except that it is both much slower than the MTT and can carry more. It has no armament.
An unarmed variant of the Multi-Troop Transport, the troop carrier boasted no weaponry or heavy armor and had to rely on AATs and battle droids for protection. It was deployed behind the protection of ground armor in secure conditions, or within occupied territory. The troop carrier was also equipped with a forward flood light for use at night. Although the MTT offered greater protection, the troop carrier was faster and more agile, and many were still retained in the Trade Federation forces.
The troop carrier was piloted by two battle droid pilots. The vehicle's drive unit was adapted from a civilian cargo sled, though it featured a large troop deployment rack behind it. Similar to the deployment racks used in MTTs, the troop carrier's single rack could hold 112 battle droids, folded into their space saving configurations.
Additional Factors:
- All transports are rather slow, and need escorts to prevent them from being easily targeted.
MINOR SUPPORT:
Below are the support units that, while formidable, don’t merit a full profile due to their comparative lack of use. They will still see use on the battlefield, just nowhere near as much as the other droids.
CIS officers:
CIS Officers describes a group of people that were neither dark acolytes nor droids. They carry out battlefield orders and direct squads. Though they don’t wear much in terms of armor, they do carry blaster pistols.

MR-200 Minesweeper Droid: An odd mix of high-tech and low-tech components, the MR-200 minesweeper droid was a single minded and single-purposed machine built for durability and efficiency. The MR-200 was designed to remove mines from battlefields using a simple metal drum attached to the front of the droid and covered in lengths of durable chain. This drum would then rotate as the droid moved, and the chains would flail against the ground detonating any mines underneath the droid. The body of the MR-200 itself was kept safe as it floated above the ground with the use of a repulsorlift, which was enough to lift the whole droid and the barrel if needed - meaning the droid was capable of simply floating over many low obstacles or areas of difficult terrain. MR-200's were also equipped with integrated comlinks to call for help, and a self-destruct mechanism to damage any potential attackers. Oddly enough these have been used as shock troopers before, by having the droid spin its flail rapidly.
Pistoeka sabotage droid :
Though mainly effective in space, these little guys have been used on the ground and air before. Mainly they latch onto enemy ships and sabotage them via plasma torches, saws and pincer arms. For that reason they are a bit annoying to infantry too.

Scavenger Droids: Scavenger droids, often called scavs, were small automated droids, generally operating in gangs, which were deployed at accident sites to scavenge for usable parts. The Trade Federation employed a large number of these droids to search through the remains of their battle droids after battles, to seek out any parts which could be used again in new droids, therefore cutting costs. In a campaign this would correlate into a slightly improved reinforcement rate.
T-series Tactical Droid:
This model was more intelligent than standard battle droids and was deployed to command Separatist troops. They had advanced combat-analysis software and were very intelligent. Though their primary purpose is commanding, when forced to fight they carried blaster pistols and rifles. There also existed a more advanced version known as the Super Tactical Droid.

============DEFENSE================
It should be noted that all defenses would be classified as rare to uncommon, and most likely the CIS would only use them to fortify extremely important positions or their bases.
Anti-Aircraft Gun
Type: Anti-Air
Anti-Aircraft Gun:
Anti-aircraft guns were artillery emplacements stationed on battlefields, such as Mygeeto, to neutralize air targets in the area. They were especially useful in the defense of landing platforms. They were usually outfitted with laser cannons.

J-1 Semi-Autono0mous Photon Cannon:
The gun was operated by one B1 battle droid in a side-seat. It did not have an automatic reloading chamber, so shells had to be manually loaded by at least two battle droids before each shot. The shells used were powerful enough to deal considerable damage to an Acclamator-class assault ship or completely destroy a LAAT/i with a single hit.

Anti-Infantry Cannons (various)
Type: Anti-infantry
Beam Cannon:
The beam cannon fired a steady red laser beam at a direct target for about two to three seconds and afterwards it would have to take three seconds to recharge. In those few seconds it could do a large amount of damage to any infantry unit, and could even take down a destroyer droid's shields in one blast. The turret was often used against infantry units, but it could also do some minor damage to armored tanks during a battle.
This repeating blaster appeared to be based on the design of the smaller E-5 blaster rifle commonly used by the Droid Army of the CIS. Larger in scale than the E-5 blaster, it required a tripod mount, and like other repeating weapons, fired rapid successive bursts. It was maneuvered by two handles, one for each barrel, and could be fired by a single operator.
LR1k Sonic Cannon:
The LR1K cannon used sonic blaster technology that employed internal oscillators to produce a devastating sonic blast. The high impact concussive sonic energy was stabilized by a containment sphere within the cannon until impact against a target, at which point it broke up to create an omnidirectional blast. Commonly, the LR1K required two Geonosian or battle droid gunners to operate, although the cannon's advanced, highly-precise targeting computers were capable of doing most of the work. A critical hit with this weapon would instantly kill any average clone and it had an average range of 20 meters.

Trandoshian Rocket Turret:
The Trandoshan Rocket Turret was a turret manufactured by Arakyd Industries that fired anti-personnel rockets. During the Battle of Kashyyyk, Trandoshans used these weapons against Wookiees and clone troopers. It shot small rockets at foes at a high velocity and with a delayed explosion. It was manned by one Trandoshan. It was armored with a blast shield in the front so the only way to infiltrate it was with explosives or anti-armor rounds.

Type: Anti-Vehicle
The Particle Cannon Turret Fired high intensity beams that were shown to be effective against vehicles, however it was also somewhat effective against infantry.
Type: Defense Droid
The Fastlatch model was a squat, self-activating droid consisting of a domed, clamshell body suspended by four pincer-like legs. It had twin photoreceptors bracketing a single, central blaster cannon, and an antenna protruding from the upper dome. These droids were known to become more aggressive towards targets the nearer the enemy got to the source of their programming. Though self-activated, the droids could be programmed to avoid attacking beings who carried repellent signal emitters.
Name: General Grevious (born Qymaen jai Sheelal)
Notable Battlefield Accomplishments:
It should be noted that, prior to the death of Count Dooku, the Separatists were winning and winning badly. It was through Grevious tactics’ and bold campaigns that most of the core worlds had been captured. He was absolutely vicious, willing to do whatever it took to gain victory, including the use of biological weapons on civilians to divert Jedi attentions and public displays of terror-inducing tactics. It was for this reason he was known as the Avatar of Terror by Republic Citizenry. He utilized chaotic battle strategies that appeared random, but in fact were carefully calculated to encourage misconceptions. Grievous singled out civilian targets during battles, forcing his enemies to choose between winning the battle or saving lives, a tactic long practiced by the Sith.
He was considered a military genius by many and without him the Seperatists probably would have never accomplished so much in a war they were pre-destined to lose.
Personality:
The Good: It is hard to state exactly what personality traits of Grevious were “positive” from the standpoint that we are looking for "good" traits. He was not a good man by any stretch (at least after the death of his early love), however he was quite cunning and unorthodox. He was cold and merciless and did not hesitate to sacrifice either the men under his command or civilians if he thought there was anything to gain in doing so. Devious and cleaver in equal measure, Grievous was a genius. Grievous was also very dedicated in his goals, and would never even conceive of surrender.
The Bad: That said his biggest weakness would probably be his arrogance, which ultimately cost him both many battles and his life. He lacked finesse and subtlety, and often relied on different applications of brute force to win battles (though there are some exceptions). Grevious was full of rage, which sometimes drove him to make costly mistakes and get him into fights with other Separatist commanders. Finally his tactics often operated under the premise that his enemy was not willing to take huge amounts of causalities, and thus he may be thrown off-balance fighting a foe that has no qualms sacrificing a lot of troops.
Style of Leader: Authoritarian:
Grievous has a chain of command but ultimately he calls the big shots, with only Count Dooku and Darth Sidious’s orders surpassing his. This is somewhat good, as his primarily droid commanders lack any sort of imagination.
Leader X-factors:
Adaptive Creativity/Resourcefulness: 65/100:
Grievous is pretty good here, using unorthodox traits both in battle and in duels. However he does have a tendency to overvalue brute force and massed overwhelming droid assaults that stop him from getting better.
Tactics: 62/100:
While he may lose quite a few battles there is no denying that Grievous is brilliant. Noting the Jedi compassion for the clones under their command and civilians, he often creates situations where they have to choose between battlefield success and saving lives, knowing that the Jedi will go for the former.
*Strategy: 62/100:
Arguably Grievous is better than this than at tactics, as he managed to plan (or at least listen to Sidious) vast campaigns that were both ultimately successful and nearly resulted in a Seperatist victory.
Intuition: 52/100:
He may have Sith Advisors capable of foresight, however Grievous himself has been caught off-guard too much for him to claim high intuition here.
* Audacity: 81/100: This guy is very bold; he leads troops from the front, constantly tangles with Jedi in their own established niche, and even launched and personally spearheaded a daring kidnapping raid on Coruscant itself! He also cares little for droid causalities, having an extremely low opinion of them. That said he will retreat if he feels he is in danger of being overrun.
Psychological Warfare: 70/100:
Very high. Simply put Grievous is a master of it, and his mere threats have occasionally inspired planets to surrender. He goes the Genghis Khan route where he invokes as much brutality as possible that results in mass-surrenders, and as such he is very convincing at the negotiating table.
Intelligence: 55/100:
Grievous is smart but not superhuman smart.
Experience: 65/100:
He has been fighting for who knows how long, and been a commander for nearly all that time.
Discipline: 54/100:
Though not easily scared by threats he is too given to rage to be considered high here.
Leadership: 63/100:
His droids serve him through unquestionable loyalty (and programming), however among organics he does not invoke much confidence.
Corruption: 81/100:
Additional Factors:
- His lack of subtely means that most battles with him will primarily be forcused on brute force and the like.
- Likes to lead from the front, as he enjoys the fight.
- Personnel command of droids via antennae built into his head.
- Despises vast majority of Seperatist council.
====Army X-factors=====
Numerical x-factors:
* Signifies a category that cannot be lowered by more then a few points by enemy actions
* Signifies a category that cannot be lowered by more then a few points by enemy actions
*Morale: 90/100 (67/100)
The CIS army is a bit difficult to categorize. The vast majority is emotionless robots while the rest are either hired guns or local (and enthusiastic) soldiers. They do not get 100 as even droids will retreat if their self-preservation protocol kicks in (or will consider retreating)
*Logistics: 83/100:
The Separatists score EXTREMELY high here, given that most of their army does not require basic provisions, and their tendency to scavenge off the land.
Espionage: 56/100:
Grievous isn't bad here given his array of Specialist troops its just that he does not use subtlety too often.
Discipline: 81/100:
Again droids tend to score very high here, though occasionally even them show excess enthusiasm or even fear/self-preservation (the B-1s show fear).
Overall Army Intimidation: 64/100:
Misc x-factors:
Reinforcement Rate: Varied
*Very High (B-series droids, droidekas)
The ability to mass produce the B-series droids thanks to the Trade Federation factories (as well as the small ones that the CIS can apparently make on site) are what gives them an ultra-high score here. They managed to make Quintillions in a few short years.
*Moderate (all other droid Series, including aircraft, tanks ect)
Though not as common, the various corporate interests behind the CISwith their droid factories can mass produce other craft when they want too.
*Very Low (all organics, mercenaries)
In total I would not personally consider them on par with the Tyranids or the Flood in terms of reinforcement rate, however they do come closer than most other factions.
Past Opponents: Primarily they are used against Jedi and the organized Clone Soldiers of the Republic, with some militia exceptions here and there . They do not have much experience with swarming or highly advanced factions (as it more advanced than them) but they do have great experience against highly disciplined troops fielded by the Republic.
Quantity vs. Quality: Heavily quantity favored:
Though they do have some really good units such as the Mandalorians or Assassin Droids, the vast, vast majority are standard B-series droids, and often in battles they “out-zerg” their enemies.
=======ADDITIONAL FACTORS=======
- Droid Industry: The CIS has gotten the process of making droids down to a science. In The Clone Wars they literally had quintrillions of droids, and could easily afford the 50 to 1 ratio between the average CIS B-1 and a clone Trooper (the clone Trooper had 50). This correlates into the ease in which they can make new droids in campaign.
- Motivation: Reversing history: The CIS has been told that they lost the Clone Wars, and look forward to reversing this defeat in this tournament.
- CIS Strength: Lies mostly in their vast and cheap droid armies used to outgun foes.
- Corporate Interests: The CIS is basically a large confederation of corporations, who supply the money and droids. These often have diverse interests, meaning it can be headache for some like Grievous to manage.
- Weaknesses: For the most part Droids are not very innovative and are bound by protocol that more creative foes can easily take advantage of.
- Weaknesses: For the most part Droids are not very innovative and are bound by protocol that more creative foes can easily take advantage of.
======VICTORY GAINS=======
Auxiliaries/Mercenaries: Money
The CIS, with their vast coffers, make frequent use of mercenaries and can often buy the support of local auxiliaries, though not their loyalty in many cases. Thus they will gain some different troop types from winning, but not as much as someone like the Tau or the Citadel.
- Technological absorption: Low-Moderate :
The CIS frequently creates and experiments with new Tech, and their adaption in this regard gave the Republic many difficulties. The Defoliator Tank and spider droids are just two examples of this.
- Biological Absorption : Very Low:
Not much is done here, however I do give them some points due to their ability to work on Biological viruses to release on the battlefield.
